Family—you gotta love 'em right? I mean, they have been there your entire life and will always love you no matter what. But as much as we hold our family near and dear to our heart, that doesn't always mean their actions will work out in our favor. Don't get me wrong—family will usually do things from a place of trying to look out for you. However, the line between trying to help out and trying to impose their desires onto you is oftentimes not very clear. For that reason, they tend to cross it, creating situations where you feel compelled to do certain things that aren't always aligned with your heart and desires. We should keep family close, but we should take their input in our lives with a grain of salt. Now, I didn't say flat out disobey your parents and don't listen to your siblings; I am saying use wisdom when navigating their directions on how you should live your life.
