April Release: How to Maintain When Life is Lifing
We thought that with people returning to some kind of norm since the pandemic first started, that things would start making sense. However, it seems like now more than ever people are facing different types of losses (e.g., relationships, loved ones, friendships) and hardships (e.g., being laid off, struggling with finances, loved ones getting sick). Although we are starting to connect again like we did before Covid, the challenges still remain. So how do you manage your life when trials and tribulations seem to be showing up nonstop? How can you see the light through the darkness when your circumstances won't even let you breathe? How do you maintain a positive mindset when things seem to come crashing down in your life one after another? My March post on handling and persevering through hardships is coming soon!

February Release: Setbacks in Friendships
So, we've defined from a general standpoint what a friend is and the qualities the person possesses. But friendship, as enjoyable as it is, comes with downsides from time to time. Sometimes, we let down our friends in one way or another, and this puts the friendships to the test. As human beings, we will never be perfect; so, we should expect to make mistakes. The questions that arise as a result are where you draw the line when it comes to those mistakes, and at what point do you have to examine whether this person is truly your friend or not. I think this is a very important aspect of friendships to discuss because many of us are letting things slide that we shouldn't, and there are people who unfortunately are taking advantage of it. Tune in for the 2nd part of the friendship series releasing tomorrow!
